June 2025 Newsletter

The past few months have been full, to say the least! The kids have enjoyed play dates with friends, reading books, and playing with Kuya Rogie. Paul and Ruth love being outside and are fascinated with bubbles.

We hosted our first Easter Egg Hunt this year at Faith Academy for some of our friends with little kiddos. Caleb's co-teacher shared an Easter message, the kiddos found Easter eggs, and then we shared a meal together. Rogie got baptized on Easter this year at our church; as we went up to watch, take pictures, and support him, someone invited Caleb in to be part of Rogie's baptism. What a blessing to be part of this important step in Rogie's faith journey!

The month of May brought about a lot of activity: Paul finished his first few months of preschool, Caleb celebrated 5 years working at Faith Academy, and I flew back to the States with Ruth for a friend's wedding! Our annual friend group photo continues to grow and it's a blessing welcoming each new member. We were also made aware this month of some legal issues involved in housing Rogie and have had to find an alternative place for him to stay. Please pray for him during this time of transition and uncertainty.

We are very much looking forward to all that this summer has in store and are leaning heavily on the Lord for wisdom and guidance with each step. Thanks for joining us on this journey!
